It may be a boring Sunday In for me but I said what the heck and decided to create a random FOTD and post it, as it's been far too long since I've shared my face (that could be a good or a bad thing). I decided on warm eyes, and came up with a nude lip combo that actually suits my fair skin, hooray!

I feel a bit silly with lashes and all on now when I'm just hanging out at home, but hey there's no harm in looking fabulous while I read my book. Hope you all had a great weekend and thanks for reading!

I can see the warmth of that Fierce & Tangy coming through, it's brilliant, isn't it? I love the look of that Chocolate Bar palette. The ombré lip is so subtle I overlooked it at first. A great, balanced glam look. You'll have to suck up the courage to go out like that. The lashes look mad!

ReplyDeleteI really wish I could do the nude lip thing, but (a) I'm fair as well (cool-toned though - I think the warmer-toned fair lasses can get away with it a bit more tbh) & (b) my lips are highly pigmented, so I'm not sure how it would work on me. Would love to find out one day.
Thanks so much Seashells!! I know what you mean, finding nudes that suit me has always been such a struggle as I'm pale. I found that using a mauve/brown lipliner around the lips with a little bit of nude in the centre really works, and you can adjust the colour to suit your skin tone. Definitely give it a go! :)
