October Empties

I am over the moon that we are well and truly Into to November already! October seemed to go by so fast but I still got through a decent chunk of products, here Is what I used up;

1. Garnier Pure Active 3-1 Scrub: This face mask exfoliated my skin nicely and had a refreshing scent. It slightly tingled on the skin which was pleasant.

2. Makeup Remover Pads: I have gone through so many of these pads from Kmart. So Inexpensive and I use them daily.

3. Olay Regenerist Cleanser: A simple gel cleanser that came with the Olay Regenerist Cleansing system. It worked nicely with the system but I wouldn't consider It that great without It.

4. Collagen Essence Cucumber Face Sheet: Love love loved this face sheet, It was so moisturising and made my skin look so dewy and youthful. I definitely want to pick some more up for the hotter months.

5. Nivea Q10 Anti Wrinkle Night Cream: I can't comment on the wrinkle side of things but this was a nice thick moisturiser to put on before bed, I am now testing out a more natural version.

5. Veet Sensitive Wax Strips: I was actually really impressed with these wax strips! They left close to no sticky residue on my legs, removed most hairs and were super easy to use myself.

6. Silk Oil Of Morocco Leave In Conditioning Treatment: This leave In spray treatment just wasn't moisturising enough for my dry hair, although I did really enjoy the convenience of being able to spray It In my hair whenever I pleased, and It had a nice scent.

7. Batiste Cherry Dry Shampoo. Favourite dry shampoo ever, I just wished It smelt more like cherry!

8. Schwarzkopf Essence Ultime Shampoo: Finally used this up, a stock standard shampoo. It had a pleasant scent which was quite strong.

9. Schwarzkopf Ultimate Keratin Hairspray: I really like this hairspray, It kept my hair In place but didn't weigh It down or make It feel weird to touch.

10. Clear Scalp Therapy Conditoner: Ehh Just eh

11. Burberry Body Perfume sample: I really liked this perfume! I have to many perfumes to justify buying a bottle though.

12. Johnson's Baby Conditioning Shampoo: I used this to deep clean my makeup brushes and It works really well. I plan on trying out the Dasio brush cleaner next as I have heard great reviews.

13. Too Faced Eye Pimer sample: This kept my eyeshadow creaseless all night so I was pretty Impressed. I have a second sachet I plan on testing out in the hotter weather.

14. Bare Minerals Bare Skin Foundation sample: A light weight medium coverage foundation that has a nice finish on the skin. I prefer more of a high coverage foundation but I can definitely see why this foundation is popular for so many.

That's everything I got through In October. I hope you are all having a fantastic November so far and thank you for stopping by!

Current Hair Care Products

Apologies for seeming to have fallen of the face of the earth the past week. I have been working for the Brisbane Ekka and have been flat out catering functions and selling enough dagwood dogs to feed another country. I'll definitely be making a post sharing my experience at the Ekka but for the mean time I thought I would share what current hair care products I'm using, before I have to leave for work again!

I'm pretty boring when It comes to shampoo and conditioner, for the last 6 months or longer I have been using the Tresemme Colour Thrive blonde shampoo and Moisture Rich conditioner. The 900ml bottles last me for ever especially considering I usually only wash my hair every three days, and I feel that the two really help keep my damaged bleached hair at bay. Although, as my hair pretty much soaks up as much moisture as It can get, I like to spray the Silk Oil of Morocco leave-in conditioning spray into my damp hair after washing. I think the morrocon oil helps the condition of my hair, but overall I just like the smell of the product and the wavy curls it creates. And of course Coconut Oil is amongst the products I use, I like to do a deep treatment at least once every two weeks, so I'll put this coconut oil  by Cococare In my hair for about an hour, once rinsed out I feel like I could be in a shampoo advertisement, it makes your hair so soft and I truly believe there isn't a better product for your hair!

As I bleach my hair myself, I use purple products to avoid any nasty brassy colours. I particularly like the Schwarzkopf Extra Care Blonde toner, It's easy just to chuck in my hair for a few minutes before conditioning and It definitely helps eliminate any brassiness. Just for extra measure I like to mix a pea size amount of the Paint box purple haze fudge into my conditioner, this is left over from dying my hair bright purple all over when I was younger, so I like to use it up by creating a purple conditioner with the Tresseme moisture rich. I have to be careful when mixing the two as if I'm not thorough I'll have splotches of purple In my hair! Heat styling doesn't happen often as my hair is quite dry, but when I do heat style I always use a heat protectant, the one I'm currently using is the Tresseme spray, It has the best application nozzle for applying all over your hair! And last but not least is Bastiste dry shampoo, It saves me in-between washing if my hair doesn't look as fresh as Id like it to be,  I love the smell too, I will forever repurchase!

Well that is all the hair care products I'm currently using, I like to switch it up by using a hair care sample in-between products, but other than that I'm pretty boring! Thanks for reading and hopefully I'll find the time to be posting regularly again soon!

June Empties

Now Im not really one to set time frames and such (as you can probably tell from my post schedule haha) but I managed to keep track and not throw out my used products from June. So without any further rambling, lets take a look at my rubbish!

1. Loreal Paris Preference PO1 Metallic Silver Blonde; I have tried two other blondes from this range and they were a million times better than this dye. This colour made my already dyed hair a weird grey colour and didn't lift my dark blonde roots at all. That being said I did buy this on super sale for $6, so I guess you get what you pay for.. kinda regretting buying a second box of it though.

2. Wotnot Facial Wipes; Great face wipes that do the job well, Im not a huge fan of the smell but I would still re-purchase.

3. China Glaze Green Apple Nail Polish Remover; This nail polish remover was bright green and faintly smelt of apple. It wasn't anything spectacular and I would only buy again if it was on sale.

4. Beauty Care Makeup Remover Pads; Love these and I use them for so many things, plus they're $2 from kmart for a pack of 200! Ive already repurchased as they're a staple for me. And I just realised in the photo that theres one left in the packet, woohoo!

5. Bastiste Dry Shampoo Tropical; Nothing amazing to read here, everyone knows about Batiste dry shampoo and the tropical one was another great scent. The travel size came in super handy to take travelling.

6. Nak Ultimate Repair 60 Second Repair; A lovely hair treatment which I was lucky enough to recently win the full size from BeautyHeaven. It really does make your hair feel amazing, it smells great and is time efficient.

7. Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel & Active Moist; I wasn't really wowed by these products but I also wasn't able to try them out long term. I personally think there's products out there that work just as well for a fraction of the price.

8. Neutrogena Ulta Sheer Sunscreen; This would be the best sunscreen I have tried in all my 20 years of extensive sunscreen research. Haha just messing, but yeah great product, doesn't make your skin greasy and best of all it prevents sunburn! Surprise there.

9. Pure Ever Blonde Shampoo; Really like this blonde shampoo, I didn't notice any significant difference in my hair colour but the musky smell alone was too die for. It's also sulphate, paraben and silicone free which is is fantastic.

So thats the products I managed to get through In June, I definitely need to step up my game and try and get through some more next month, I mean not a single makeup item in there Monique!! Anyway thanks for reading and let me know how many products you were able to get through this month!
